Student Mass
The Faith and Formation and Family Mass Teams are at present organising this year’s Student Masses for Sunday 6th May in Glengoole Church at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe Church at 11.15. We will be contacting State Exam students individually, but as this is not possible for Third Level students and people gone back into education, we wish to extend a warm invitation to all these students to come along with family and friends to either of these Masses. Anyone willing to volunteer to read or take part in the Student Masses in any other way can contact Fr. Irwin or Fr O’Rourke or text (086) 8138325.

Meeting
There will be a meeting of the St. Vincent de Paul Conference in Ballysloe School on Tuesday night at 7.30. Sincerest thanks for your generous support of the Collection last week-end.

Our Part in the International Eucharistic Congress 10th to 17th June
All tickets presently available in the parish for the Statio Orbis Mass in Croke Park on Sunday 17th June have been booked. A number of other people have booked tickets to be part of the ceremonies on other days of the week. I wonder if enough people would be interested to travel on a coach to the Congress on Tuesday 12th , if it was booked. Entry cost is €30.00 each person plus the cost of the bus. If you are interested please give you name to Fr. O’Rourke as soon as possible.
The country-wide Collection for the Eucharistic Congress will be taken up at all Churches on the week-end of May 5th and 6th. Please be prepared to give generously.

There will be a Congress choirs Seminar in the Marian Hall, Tipperary on Sunday 13th May from 2.30 to 5.00, followed by Mass at 5.30.

Gortnahoe-Glengoole Got Talent
The above Talent Show will take place on Friday June 22nd in Gortnahoe Community Centre. It is open to adults and children, All types of acts from singers, musicians, comedians, novelty acts, etc. Are welcome to enter. Anyone interested in entering the above Talent Competition please contact Lisa Rohan at 087 7942019. A great night’s entertainment is guaranteed.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Afternoon Outing to Showground and Poppyfield Shopping Centre, Clonmel on Tuesday 24th April;. Bus leaving Community Hall at 1.30. Tea and refreshments in Clonmel Park Hotel. Cost €10.00. Names to Post Office or any committee member before Friday 20th.
