Glengoole: Each morning except Tuesday at 9.30.

Distribution of Collection Envelopes
Annual Distribution of Collection Envelopes will take place this week to all homes. It also includes the promised Financial Statement for the year 2011. We ask that all outstanding collections for the year 2011 be paid during this week. For the Priests Collections during the coming year households are invited to decide what they will pay to each Collection. Guidelines for assessing your contribution are attached to the supply of envelopes. Sincere thanks to everyone.

The Annual Clerks Collection
The Collection for the clerks of Gortnahoe and Glengoole Churches will be taken up next weekend. We really appreciate the kindness, conscientiousness and generosity of Josie and Bridie. As this is the only Collection for them during the year we ask you all to give generously.

Church Unity Week
Prayer for Church Unity Week takes place this week. The Annual Church Unity Ceremony will be in Kilcooley Church on Sunday next 29th January at 7.00. We invite a large number to participate. Choir Practice will take place in Gortnahoe Church on Wednesday night at the usual time.

Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week will take place this year from January 29th to February 2nd. Please include our schools, their pupils, teachers and families in your prayers during the week.

Gortnahoe Outdoor Crib Offerings
Thank you to all who contributed to the Laura Lynn Foundation. This is the only Children's Hospice in Ireland. A total donation of €237.22, through your generosity was collected and sent directly to this worthy cause.

Coffee Morning
Gortnahoe School Parents Association will hold a Coffee Morning on Sunday 5th February in the Community Hall, Gortnahoe at 12.00. Homemade cakes, tarts, buns, etc will also be available for sale. All donations kindly received will go towards the book rental scheme.

Golf Society AGM
Mary Willies Golf Society will hold their AGM on Saturday 4th February at 9.00 in Mary Willies. Existing and new members are invited.

Glengoole United F.C.
Glengoole United F.C. wish to sincerely thank all those who supported their recent Church Gate Collection and the St. Stephens Day 'Jump in the Lake' fundraiser. Your support is much appreciated.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the €5,400 Jackpot on January 19th at Prouts. The numbers drawn were 3, 13, 14 and 26. Lucky Dip winners were Kevin Hogg, Fennor, Margaret Lanigan, Gurteen, Keith Holohan, Gurteen and Marian Teehan, Grange. €25 Sellers Prize was Francis Carr. Next Draw on 26th January at Hogans, Ballysloe for €5,600. Please support.

Marie Keating Foundation Mobile Unit
Marie Keating Foundation Mobile Unit will be visiting the Millennium Family Resource Centre, Glengoole on Wednesday 25th January from 10.30 to 2.30. A registered nurse will be present to give advice and help on a person to person basis on matters such as healthy living, diets and key cancers etc.

Drama by Moth Theatre Group
Emerald Camogie Club are delighted to host the play 'The Pitch', performed by the Moth Theatre Group on Thursday January 26th in the Community Hall, Urlingford at 8.00. Tickets €10 each. Come early.
