Priests Collection Christmas 2011
A sincere thanks to all who contributed so generously to the Priests of the Diocese Collection this Christmas. As stated in the Newsletter of 16th December the total received had been €20,260. The figure now stands at €30,300, for which we are very thankful. We still await and will welcome the outstanding contributions of those who have not paid.

The Finance Committee which met briefly this weekend are reviewing the running costs of the parish and the Annual Collections, an Income and Expenditure Account will be published shortly. In relation to the Priests Collection, parishioners will note that there is still approximately €13,000 of a shortfall between the levy imposed by the Archdiocese and the amount actually collected. In order to discuss the financial affairs of the parish and look for suggestions on how the envelope/finances are organised in the future, a public meeting is being organised for Monday 16th January at 8.30 pm in Gortnahoe Hall. Be ready and prepared to come along to this special meeting.
