Preparing for the International Eucharistic Congress
The Eucharistic Congress Bell will visit Gortnahoe Parish on the afternoon of Wednesday 2nd November. Preparations for the visit will take place at the Faith and Formation Meeting in Gortnahoe Hall on Tuesday next at 8.30. A warm welcome to all.

Sponsored Walk
The Annual Pioneer Sponsored Walk takes place in Grange on this Sunday 9th October at 2 pm. Please come along and enjoy a lovely afternoon. Your sponsorship will be most welcome.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
In the next few weeks members of St. Vincent de Paul Society will call to homes selling tickets for a raffle to raise some much needed funds. Tickets are €1.00 each, book of 6 for €5.00. The Raffle will take place at Gortnahoe Bingo on Saturday 29th October. Please support the Raffle.

Camogie Under 15
Camogie Co. Semi-Final takes place on Sunday 9th October versus Holycross in Littleton at 12.00. Please support.

Bereavement Talk
Anam Cara Bereavement will host a Talk in Clonmel Community Centre on Wednesday 19th October from 7.30 to 9.30. All Anam Cara Services are offered free of charge to parents. From 7.00 to 9.00. Come along and enjoy the night. Contact 087 1663885.

Parish Annual
We are very close to the deadline for publishing the 2011 edition of the Parish Annual. We thank all who have so generously contributed in so many different ways and ask those with articles to please submit asap. Anyone interested in advertising their business or trade in this year’s annual please contact us as soon as possible. Meeting Monday at 9.00.

Family Mass
Meeting of all organisers in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday at 7.30 to prepare for the November Family Mass in Gortnahoe and Glengoole.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the € 2,600 Jackpot on the 6th October at Hogans, Ballysloe. The numbers drawn were 11, 19, 20 and 25. Lucky Dip winners were Jason Corbett, Mellison, Mary Norton, Castle Rd. Kilkenny, Mary MUlcahy, Orchardstown, Lisronagh and Noel Tierney, c/o Nortons Fruit & Veg. Seller’s Prize winner was Hogan’s, Ballysloe. Next Draw, Hogans, Grange on 13th October for € 2,800. Glengoole Gortnahoe Drama Group
Glengoole Gortnahoe Drama Group will hold their A.G.M. in Glengoole Hall on Monday 10th October at 8.30. All interested please come along.

Knitting Club
MFRC, Glengoole hosts a knitting Club in Glengoole every Wednesday night from 7.00 to 9.00. Come along and enjoy the night. Contact 087 1663885.

Hospice Family Day
Sponsored horse ride and a guided walk – face painting and BBQ in Kilcooley Estate on Sunday the 9th October at 1 pm. All proceeds to South Tipperary Hospice. All are welcome.
