Feast Day
Monday 15th August, the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady is a holyday of obligation. Masses at Glengooleon Sunday 6.30 and Monday 10.00. Gortnahoe on Sunday 7.45 and Monday 11.15.

Glengoole: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 9.30 am.
Gortnahoe: Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9.30 am
Cemetery Masses
Boulick, Monday evening 15th August at 7.00. Ballinalacken Sunday evening 21st August at 7.00.
Parish Annual
We are reaching the time when all contributors should have started working on the text of their contribution to this years Parish Annual. All articles are anticipated to be ready for the next Editorial Meeting on Tuesday 6th September at 9.00 in the Parochial House. The more articles, photographs, tributes to our dead, poems, etc that we receive the better the Annual will be.

Albanian Appeal
This will be our fourth year to go to Albania to help those in greater need than ourselves. We all know these are hard times, but this year we are appealing for donations of clothes and textiles, books (but no magazines, comics, workbooks or telephone books) and unwanted mobile phones. All donations can be handed in to the container outside Campion’s Pumps in Gortnahoe until 23rd September 2011. Your support is much appreciated.

No Winner of the €13,000 Jackpot on the 11th August. The numbers were 12, 20, 27 and 30. Lucky Dip winners were Bernie Burke, Urlingford, Helen Lanigan, Urard, Thomas & Michael O’Mahony, Grange and David Behan, Coalbrook. . €25 Seller’s prize winner was Kevin Maher. Next draw 18th August at Mary Willies, for €13,200 Jackpot.
Gortnahoe Youths F.C.
Training will commence next Friday 19th August at 7.00 in Gortnahoe Community Field for the new soccer season.
Bereavement Information Evening
A Bereavement Information Evening at Milford Care Centre will be on Tuesday 23rd August from 7.00 to 8.30, with help on grief and bereavement.
Gymkhana and Field Day
Cashel-Dualla Gymkhana and Countryside Field Day, including a Tractor Pulling Competition will be in Dualla on Sunday 21st Aug. Starting at 11.30.
Vintage Rally
Clonoulty-Rossmore Vintage Rally in aid of South Tipperary Hospice Movement will be in Clonoulty village on Sunday 28th August, starting at 12.00.
Women’s Mini Marathon
Clonmel 10k Women’s Mini Marathon organised by South & North Tipp Sports Partnership on Sunday 18th September at 2.00. Online Registration only at www.tippminimarathon.ie or 062 64737, not later than 12th September.
