Aglish Cemetery Mass
Aglish Cemetery Mass is this Sunday 12th June at 3.00. If the day is wet the Mass will be in Gortnahoe Church at 3.00.

Collection for the Eucharistic Congress
The wonderful occasion of the Eucharistic Congress in Ireland, the first since 1932, is coming closer, and every effort is being made to make it special, which also costs a great deal of money. A special Collection for its organisation and running will be taken up in every parish on the week-end of June 25th & 26th. Be ready to give generously.

Introducing the New Missal
The new translation of the Mass Missal will be introduced on the First Sunday of Advent this year. We invite all to be ready and to remember the great tradition of responses in our parish.

Senior Citizens Club Day
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Club Day which was cancelled on 31st May will now be held on Tuesday next 14th June.

Pioneer Total Abstinence Association
There will be a special night for the enrolling of new Pioneers and the Presentation of Jubilee pins and certificates on Sunday next 19th June in Glengoole Church at 7.00. All applying to be members, pins and cards €2. Golden and Silver Jubilarian pins and certificates €20.  All orders to Fr. O’Rourke not later than this Sunday 12th June.

Good Shepherd Cemetery
Our clean-up continues this Tuesday at 7.00 in preparation for our annual Mass on Sunday 26th June. All help appreciated.

Open Day
Gortnahoe Community Play-Group will hold their Open Day on Tuesday 14th June from 1.30 to 3.00. All parents interested in enrolling their child are welcome to attend.

Arts and Crafts Day
Gortnahoe Community Playgroup will hold an Arts and Crafts Day for the Primary School children in the Community Hall, Gortnahoe on Sat. 25th June from 1.00 to 4.00 €3.00 per child. Registration Forms will be distributed through the Primary Schools this week. Contact Stella at 087 6509625 for enquiries.

GAA Lotto
No winner of the € 11,200 on 9th June. Winning numbers were 6, 21, 25 & 30. Lucky Dip winners were Michael Heffernan, Glengoole, Sharon Walsh, Patrick’s Gate, Liam Teehan, Grange, Billy Byrne, c/o Hogans, Ballysloe. Next Draw at Hogans, ballysloe on 16th June. for €11,400. € 25 Sellers Prize winner was Jimmy Meighan. Continue your support.

Gortnahoe Youth and Development
A Disco for all Primary School children will take place next Friday 17th June from 7.00 to 9.00. Admission € 3.00. All proceeds in aid of Gortnahoe-Glengoole Community Games.
