Sunday of the Ascension

Collection
The Annual Collection for the Education of Priests will be taken up this week-end. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible.

Family Mass
The monthly Family Mass will be on this Sunday 5th June in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. The theme of the Mass is Peace, which we need to pray for and value. Come and join in this special Mass.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.

Cemetery Masses for 2011
Aglish Cemetery on Sunday 12th June at 3.00.
Good Shepherd Cemetery on Sunday 26th June at 7.30.
Glengoole Church Cemetery on Tuesday 26th July at 7.30
Fennor Cemetery on Thursday 28th July at 7.30
Boulick Cemetery on Monday 15th August at 7.00
Ballinalacken Cemetery Sunday 21st August at 7.00.

Pioneer Total Abstinence Association
There will be a special night for the enrolling of new Pioneers and the Presentation of Jubilee pins and certificates on Sunday 19th June in Glengoole Church at 7.00. All applying to be members, pins and cards €2.00. Golden and Silver Jubilarian pins and certificates €20.00. Everybody please give your names to Fr. O'Rourke within the next week, so that all can be ordered and delivered in time for the celebration.

Introducing the New Missal
The new translation of the Mass Missal will be introduced on the First Sunday of Advent this year. We invite all to be ready and to remember the great tradition of responses in our parish.

Liam Lawton Workshop
All singers are invited to St. Patrick's College, Thurles on Tuesday 7th June at 8.00. See Church Posters.

Self Help Africa
Please support the Church gate Collection next week-end.

Good Shepherd Cemetery
Every family with members buried in Good Shepherd Cemetery are invited to come for the clean up on Tuesday 7th June at 7.00 in preparation for the Annual Mass on Sunday 26th June at 7.30.

Larry Wall Memorial
Larry Wall Memorial celebrations will be in The Commons on Sunday 12th June. This will be a memorable celebration for everyone.

Gortnahoe Youths F.C.
Gortnahoe Youths F.C. Our season is ended and we thank all who supported, helped and coached our children, parents and players. Congratulations to the U 10 team who came second in their division in League. New Season Mid August.

Tottenham Summer Camp is fast approaching. We encourage anyone who is interested in enrolling their children should do so as soon as possible. Camp will be from 4th to 7th July in Gortnahoe Community Field. Contach Michael Lyons at 086 8167936 for further details.

No winner of the €11,000 on 2nd June at Corcoran's, Grange. Winning numbers were 1, 13 16 and 22.
