May Procession
The May Procession in honour of Our Lady in Glengoole, led by the First Communion children, will be this Sunday 22nd May. Mass 10.00

Trocaire
Sincerest thanks to all for the wonderful sum of €16,820.00 which was contributed to Trocaire by the parish in so many different ways this year.

Parish Annual Meeting
The first meeting for the Parish Annual will be held at Fr. O'Rourke's home on Monday 23rd May at 9.00. All members involved last year are invited and new members most welcome. Contact either of the priests.

Family Mass
The next monthly Family Mass will be on Sunday 5th June. A meeting of organisers will be on this Monday at 7.30. New members welcome.

Defibrillator Team
Gortnahoe Community Association and the Community Playgroup are in the process of buying a Defibrillator for the parish. Anyone wishing to train as part of 'The Defibrillator Team' please leave your name with Ann Stokes in the Post Office, 056 8834101 on or before May 31st. The more people trained in the use of a defibrillator the better the support system for our parish.

Cancer Collection
A Church Gate Collection for the Irish Cancer Society will be held on the week-end of 28th & 29th May. Please contribute generously.

Athletics Evening
Community Games athletics evening will be in Gortnahoe Community Field on Tuesday 31st May at 7.00. Make it a wonderful evening.

Readers Meeting
Glengoole Readers Meeting Thurs. 26th May at 8.00. New members welcome.

Kilcooley Event
Musician and songwriter Mike Hanly will perform in the Church in Kilcooley on Friday 27th May at 8.30. Admission €10.00 Tickets available from Heritage Centre Killenaule. 052 9156165.

Coffee Morning
To celebrate the Bealtine Festival there will be in the Family Resource Centre on Tuesday morning starting at 11.00.

Resource Centre Courses
Millennium Family Resource Centre Courses for Sept. 2011: Healthcare Support Fetac Level 5. Applied Employment Skills Level 4. Applicants must be in receipt of Social Welfare payment. Ring Josephine or Avril at 052 9157992.

Thurles Friends of the Children of Chernobyl thank all who supported their Church Gate Collection last week-end. €924.00 was collected.

Community Playgroup
Gortnahoe Community Playgroup are now taking enrolments for Sept. 2011. Children aged 2yrs & 10 months to 6 yrs may apply. ECCE Scheme places are now limited. Contact Playschool at 056 8834840 or Stella at 087 6509625.

Garden Fete
Support the Presentation Secondary School, Thurles Annual Garden Fete on Sunday 22nd May from 2.00 to 5.00. A wonderful afternoon.

G.A.A. Lotto

Lough Derg Pilgrimages
Lough Derg Pilgrimages take place from 1st June until 13th August. Cost: €55 includes boat fare and accommodation.

Killenaule Library
As part of Bealtine celebrations a free writers workshop will be held in Killenaule Library on 24th May 4.30 to 8.00. Ring 052 9157906

Ladies Camogie & Football Club
Please support our fundraiser by guessing the correct score of the Tipperary v Cork match. Lines on sale from club members, local shops and Post Office. Congratulations to Shauna Cleary on being picked to play in the Primary Football Game this Sunday.
