Mass for all pupils doing Public Examinations
The special Mass for pupils will be in Glengoole Church this Sunday 8th May at 10.00. A very warm welcome to all the pupils. Please remember them in your prayers.

Introducing the New Missal
From September 2011 a new Mass Missal will be introduced. It will mean some changes in our mass responses. On your seat in the Church is a small leaflet with Questions and Answers which explains what the changes are and the reason for the changes. Everyone please take one.

First Communion
First Communion for the children of Glengoole and Ballysloe schools will take place on Saturday morning next 14th May at 11.00.
Please remember the children and their families in your prayers.

Trocaire
A word of sincere thanks to everyone who supported Trocaire with their Lenten boxes and Global gifts this year. If you have forgotten to return your Trocaire box, please return it this coming week, as we try to finalise our Parish support to Digna and the Honduran people.

Meeting
There will be a meeting of St. Vincent de Paul Society in Ballysloe School on Tuesday at 7.30.

Gortnahoe Community
Gortnahoe Community Association and the Community Playgroup are in the process of buying a Defibrillator for the parish. Anyone wishing to train as part of 'The Defibrillator Team' please leave your name with Ann Stokes in the Post Office, 056 8834101 on or before May 31st. The more people trained in the use of a defibrillator the better the support system for our parish.

Chernobyl Children Collection
Please support the Church Gate Collection for the Chernobyl Children who will be coming to families in July.

Ballysloe School Enrolment
Please enrol all new children for Ballysloe School as soon as possible.
