Afternoon Retreat
The annual afternoon Retreat, organised by the Legion of Mary, will be held in Glengoole Church this Sunday afternoon from 2.00 to 6.00. Come along for the whole afternoon or for part of the time.

Pamphlet available
A booklet from the bishops of Ireland, explaining the response of the Church to last year Letter from His Holiness the pope, dealing with child abuse by clergy and religious, is available in the church today. Please collect a copy and read it. Please continue to pray for victims and the inspiration of God for everyone.

Glengoole: each morning at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.

Volunteering
A very warm welcome to all helpers in the parish and all new volunteers to a period of reflection and inspiration given by Fr. James Purcell in Gortnahoe hall on Monday night 11th April starting at 7.30 for approximately an hour. Everybody is welcome, as so many people in the parish are involved helping and supporting so many throughout the world.

Thanks
Sincerest thanks to all who so generously organised and supported the Whist Drive in The Hill School in aid of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. As a result an extra €1,000 was put into their funds.

Church Gate Collection
Church Gate Collection for St. Vincent de Paul Society: The annual Lenten Church gate Collection will be taken up next weekend, 16th and 17th April. Please contribute generously.

Meeting
There will be a meeting of St. Vincent de Paul Conference in Ballysloe School on Tuesday next at 7.30.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
Please confirm with Post office on Monday if you are travelling to Urlingford on Tuesday or if you need Ring-A-Link to collect you.

Gortnahoe National School Parents Association
An Information Meeting will be held in Gortnahoe N.S. on Wednesday next, 13th April, at 8.00. Two representatives from the National Executive of the Parents Council will attend this meeting. Refreshments will be served.

Gortnahoe Community Hall
Special Bingo will be held on Good Friday at 8.30. € 2,500 in prizes, plus Bonus and Easter Eggs.

Table Quiz
Gortnahoe Community Field will hold a Table Quiz in Mary Willies next Saturday night 16th April at 9.30. Your support would be greatly appreciated. €20.00 per table of four.
