Lenten Devotions
Lenten Devotions with Stations of the Cross and Benediction in Gortnahoe church on Sunday night at 7.00.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30.

Volunteering to be of help in the Churches
Sincerest thanks to the great number who have given their names to be helpers for different ministries in the churches. We still welcome many more volunteers. A very warm welcome to all helpers in the parish and all new volunteers to a period of reflection and inspiration given by Fr. James Purcell in Gortnahoe hall on Monday night 11th April starting at 7.30 for approximately an hour.

Family Mass
The monthly Family Mass for April is taking place this Sunday at 10.00 in Glengoole and 11.15 in Gortnahoe. It is also Mothers Sunday, so the theme is “A Mother’s Love is a Blessing”. Make this a special day.

Glengoole Choir
There will be a practice in Glengoole Church on Wednesday night at 8.00 in preparation for Easter. A warm welcome to all singers.

Readers Meeting
Glengoole Readers Meeting will take place in Glengoole Church on Thursday night 7th at 8.30. All new Readers please come along.

Cake Sale
Ballysloe National School Cake Sale will take place on Friday 8th April at 1.30. Donations of cakes and your support will be most welcome. All proceeds in aid of Trocaire.

First Aid Classes
First Aid Classes in Gortnahoe Hall will begin on Tuesday 5th April at 7.30. All are welcome.
Special Bingo for Trocaire will be held on Saturday next 9th April in Gortnahoe Hall. Usual Prize money, plus € 500 extra and a Raffle.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
Urlingford Tuesday Club have invited our Senior Citizens to join them in Urlingford Centre (behind the Fire Station) on Tuesday 12th April from 1.45 to 4.45. Names to Post Office as soon as possible, as Ring-A-Link will be providing transport and it has to be arranged.

Senior Citizens Meeting
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday night 5th April at 7.30.

Indian Project
Indian Immersion Project Camel Night in aid of Presentation Secondary Ballingarry’s Indian Project will take place in The Anner Hotel, Thurles on Thursday night 7th April at 8.00. Transition Year Students will travel to India later this year to visit our partner school, St. Anthony’s High School, Chennai, to help and support the project. Please support the Camel night by sponsoring a camel or a jockey or come on the night and put your money on the Tote.

Litter Collection
Grange Annual Litter Collection will take place on Monday 4th October, starting at 7.00. All gather in the village and help on that evening.

A Mother’s Prayer
O Heavenly Father, I offer my children to You, be their God and Father. Mercifully make up for whatever, through weakness or neglect, is lacking in me. Pour out your grace into their hearts. Strengthen and increase in them the gifts of your Holy Spirit. May they grow daily in your grace and in the knowledge of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.
