Third Sunday of Lent

Clocks Summer Time
For New Time put your clocks forward one hour at 1am on Sunday.

Lenten Devotions
Because of the Priests Retreat & a Family bereavement there will be no devotions this Sunday evening.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: Tuesday at 9.30, Thursday at 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9.30.
First Thursday: Glengoole: Mass in Latin at 7.00
First Friday: Glengoole: Confessions 6.30. Mass 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.
First Saturday: Gortnahoe: Devotions of reparation and Mass at 9.30.

Volunteering to be of help in the Churches
Please leave all your completed Volunteer forms in the boxes at the ends of the churches this week-end.

Gortnahoe Folk Choir
There will be practice on Wednesday 30th March at 8.00 in Gortnahoe Church, in preparation for Easter. All singers and musicians are most welcome.

Family Mass
The monthly Family Mass for April will take place on Sunday next at 10.00 in Glengoole and 11.15 in Gortnahoe. It is also Mothers Sunday, so the theme is "A Mother's Love is a Blessing". Make this a special day.

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
Club Day on Tuesday next at 2.30. Philip Ryan, Muintir na Tire will attend. The chiropodist will also attend. Please come along.

St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul Society meeting in Ballysloe N.S. on Tuesday night at 7.30

Whist Drive
There will be a Whist Drive in the Hill School, Grange on Friday 1st April at 8.30 p.m. All proceeds go to the local Vincent de Paul Society. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Millennium Family Resource Centre, Glengoole

The special Party will now take place on Wednesday next 30th March, from 12.30 until near 6.00. Meal at 1.00. Music, song and dance afterwards. Come along to great enjoyment.

Litter Collection
Grange Annual Litter Collection will take place on Monday 4th October, starting at 7.00. All gather in the village and help on that evening.

Classes in Gortnahoe Community Centre
Craft Classes will resume on Thursday 31st March at 7.30. New members most welcome. Further details from Theresa Bartley, Susan Gleeson or Ann at Gortnahoe Post Office.

First Aid Classes
First Aid Classes will begin on Tuesday 5th April at 7.30 pm.

Bingo
Special Bingo for Trocaire will be held on Saturday 9th April. Usual Prize money plus € 500.00 extra and Raffle. Please come and support

Lenten Prayer
Lord, at the beginning of Lent we were inspired and encouraged to make this a special time of prayer and penance. For the occasions we have failed to live up to what we could do, we are sorry and we ask your help to make the rest of Lent a time to bring us closer to you and more thoughtful of each other, especially those most in need of help. Amen.
