Carol Service
This Sunday night 19th December is a very special night for the Parish, when all the choirs from the parish and all parishioners and friends are invited to be part of the special Carol Service in Glengoole Church at 7.00. Come along early to be assured a seat.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: Each morning at 9.30
Gortnahoe: Each morning at 9.30.

Area Masses
Monday, Parish House Ballynonty. Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.
Tuesday in Cleeres, Kilbraugh. Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00
Tuesday in Phelans, Inchorourke. Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.

Christmas Masses
Gortnahoe: Christmas Eve 8.00 Christmas Day 11.15.
Glengoole: Christmas Eve 9.00. Christmas Day 10.00.
Masses for Sunday 26th will be in Glengoole on Sunday at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. No evening masses on Christmas Day.

Christmas Collection
The Christmas Collection for the Archbishop and priests of the diocese will be taken up at the Christmas masses; We ask you to please contribute what you are asked. We ask that all unpaid collections should be included in this contribution. We ask the usual collectors to please attend.

Christmas Confessions
Confessions each morning after morning Mass. Special Confessions on Wednesday night, in Glengoole at 7.00 and in Gortnahoe at 8.00 and on Friday, Glengoole at 12.00 and Gortnahoe at 12.30.

Holy Communion to the Sick and Housebound
All the usual sick and housebound will be visited on Wednesday morning by Fr. O’Rourke and Fr. Walsh. They will gladly visit anybody else unable to be out for Christmas. Please give them this information.

Thanks
The St. Vincent de Paul Society sincerely thanks all who contributed to their annual Collection last weekend. As the calls on the Society all over the country and here in the parish have increased all further contributions are needed and will be most welcome.

Gortnahoe Community Hall Sale of Work
The re-scheduled Sale of Work is being held in Gortnahoe Hall on this Sunday 19th December at 1.30 sharp.
All the usual great bargains will be there and Santa of course will be there from 2.00. Looking forward to your support.

Parish Books available
The Parish Prayer Book is now on sale in our churches. The Prayer Book costs € 2.00

G.A.A. Lotto Draw Results
There was no winner of the €6,600 Jackpot on the 16th December. Numbers drawn were 7, 10, 13 & 16 . Jackpot €6,800.00 Sellers Prize Kay Skehan. Christmas Giveaway: In next week’s Draw € 1,000 to be won in lucky dips.

Lord God, we thank You because you have loved us so much that You sent Your only Son to bring us eternal life. Bless this crib that we have prepared and let it be a reminder to us of the Lord Jesus, Son of God and Son of Mary. Amen.
