Family Masses
Everybody is very welcome to join in the Sunday Masses this week-end, in Glengoole at 10am and Gortnahoe at 11.15, our special family Masses. The theme is, ‘The sacraments, God presents to us’.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: Each morning except Monday at 9.30
Gortnahoe: Each morning at 9.30.

Choir Practice Glengoole
Choir Practice in Glengoole will be on Monday night and Thursday night at 8pm. All singers please come along.

Carol Service
Sunday night next 19th December will be a very special night for the Parish, when all the choirs from the parish and all parishioners and friends are invited to be part of the special Carol Service in Glengoole Church.

Parish Books available
The Parish Prayer Book now on sale in our churches. The prayer Book costs €2.00

Gortnahoe Senior Citizens
Sincerest thanks to all who contributed to last Sunday’s Collection. €793.38 was collected..
Senior Citizens Christmas Party is on this Sunday, 1.30 for 2pm. If anybody from Glengoole or Gortnahoe wishes to be collected, please ring Noreen Bambrick at 086 8308576. She will arrange transport.

Gortnahoe Community Hall Sale of Work
The re-scheduled Sale of Work will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Sunday 19th December at 1.30 sharp. Collectors will be calling to the houses this week for any donations or gift, etc. Looking forward to your support.

Bingo resumes
Bingo will resume again this Saturday night. € 1,600 in Prize Money, plus Jackpot and numerous Spot Prizes. All are welcome and encouraged to come.

Christmas Disco
Christmas Disco for all Primary School children will be held next Friday night 17th December in Gortnahoe Hall. Plenty of fun and games on the night.

G.A.A. Lotto Draw Results
There was no winner of the €6,400 Jackpot on the 9th December. Numbers drawn were 7, 16, 17 & 30 . Lucky Dip winners were John Norton, Glengoole, Willie Fogarty, Gortnahoe, Trisha Holohan, Glengoole and Trevor Webster, Gortnahoe. Next Draw at Hogans, Grange on Thursday 16th December. Jackpot €6,600.00 Sellers Prize Kevin Maher.

Advent Prayer
Lord, as we set aside this time of preparation for Christmas, inspire us to be ready to give a most important place to welcoming Jesus as our guest in Holy Communion, admiring Him in our crib and praying that those who have died will be welcomed by You in heaven for all eternity. Amen.
