Thirty Second Sunday of the Year
7th November 2010

Family Mass
We invite you all to include your prayers for the dead in the Family Mass this Sunday and throughout the month of November.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.

Cemetery Rosaries
Rosaries will be recited at cemeteries after morning Masses each Sunday in Glengoole, Gortnahoe and Good Shepherd, at Boulick, Fennor and Aglish at 1.30 Johnstown, at 2.30 and Ballinalacken at 3.00.

Missions Collection
The annual Collection for the Missions will be taken up next week-end. Please give generously. Envelopes for this Collection were given out at the beginning of the year.

Gortnahoe Folk Choir
The choir will resume practice again this Wednesday, 10th November at 8.00 in Gortnahoe Church. We would like to encourage singers and musicians to come and join us.

St. Vincent de Paul Society
Meeting will be held in Ballysloe school on Monday night 8th November at 7.30.

Pallotine Collection
Sincerest thanks to all who contributed to the Collection for the Pallottine Missions. The amount contributed in Glengoole was € 394.25.

Gortnahoe Youth and Development Association
We would like to thank everyone who joined our Community Field 500 Club Draw. All proceeds go back into further development of the facility.

October Draw results

Gortnahoe Youths F.C.
Training continues every Saturday morning from 10.00 to 11.00 in Gortnahoe. New members are welcome. The Club caters from ages 5 and up.

Gortnahoe Community Association
We would request all households to return the circular which was included with the recent newsletter to indicate what classes they would like to partake in the Hall. Please return the circular within the next week to the Post Office or to any Committee member.

Crafty Classes
We remind parishioners that the craft classes have commenced in the Hall on Thursday nights at 7.00. New members welcome.

G.A.A. Lotto Draw Results
There was no winner of the €5,400 Jackpot on the 4th November. Numbers drawn were 1, 22, 26 and 27 . Lucky Dip winners were Ann Watson, Gortnahoe, Susan Treacy, Glengoole, Bridget Ahern, Urlingford, Keith Holohan, Gortnahoe.

Next Draw at Dolys, Glengoole on Thursday 11th November. Jackpot €5,600. Sellers Prize P.J. McCormack. Thank you for your support.
