Thirty First Sunday of the Year
31st October 2010

Feast of All Saints
Monday 1st November is the Feast of All Saints. A Holy day of Obligation. Masses will be in Glengoole on Monday morning at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe on Sunday night at 7.45 and on Monday morning at 11.15.

Feast of All Souls
Tuesday is the Feast of All Souls: Masses will be in Glengoole at 9.30 and 7.00. Masses in Gortnahoe will be at 9.30 and 8.00.

Morning Masses
Glengoole: on Wednesday morning at 9.30.
Gortnahoe: on Wednesday and Thursday morning at 9.30.

November offerings for our dead
Thirty Masses will be offered in the parish during November for your dead. Please bring along the lists of your dead to masses this week-end. Envelopes and commemoration sheets were distributed at the beginning of the year. Extra envelopes are available at the end of the church.

Cemetery Rosaries
Rosaries will be recited at cemeteries after morning Masses on this Monday and on Sundays in Glengoole, Gortnahoe and Good Shepherd, at Boulick, Fennor and Aglish at 1.30 and Ballinalacken at 3.00.

First Thursday
Glengoole: Mass in Latin at 7.00.

First Friday
Glengoole: Confessions 6.30. Mass 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.

First Saturday
Devotions of Reparation and mass at 9.30.

Family Mass
The monthly Family Mass will be offered next Sunday 7th November in Glengoole Church at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe Church at 11.15. These Masses will be for the happy repose of all deceased parishioners, but especially towards those who died in the past year. Bring along all families.

Pallotine Collection
Sincerest thanks to all who contributed to the Collection for the Pallottine Missions. The total amount contributed was € 391.50.

Social Dancing
Social dancing in Urlingford Hall will be on Tuesday 2nd November. Music by Dermot Lyons. A great night's entertainment guaranteed. Teas are included.

Blood Donor Clinic
Blood Donor Clinic will be in The Dome, Semple Stadium, Thurles on y 28th, Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd from 6.00 to 9.00. Your donation of blood is your greatest gift to a sick person.

Crafty Classes
A six week course of craft Classes began in Gortnahoe Hall on Thursday 28th November. Cross Stitching Class at 7.00. Knitting Class and Card Making Class at 7.30. All are welcome, including new members..

G.A.A. Lotto Draw Results
There was no winner of the €5,200 Jackpot on the 28th October. Numbers drawn were 6,7,18 and 30 . Lucky Dip winners were T.J.Campion, Coole, Mary Teehan, Grange, John Bowe, Gortnahoe, Thomas O'Mahony, Grange. Next Draw at Mary Willies on Thursday 4th November. Jackpot €5,400.00 Sellers Prize Jim Rafter. Thank you for your support.

Table Quiz
Slieveardagh Athletic Club will hold a Table Quiz in Hogans, Ballysloe on Friday 5th November at 9.30. Table of 4 - € 20.00. Please support. Tickets available from Elsie Rafter 087 6411815, Andy O'Gorman 087 6760064 or Brid Heffernan 086 0791387.
