The Rosary
The Rosary will be recited on St Patrick's day at St Patrick's well in Ballinalackin cemetery at 2 pm.

If anyone is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion – we can organise to have it brought to you safely

Visits to the Sick and Housebound       
First Friday, May 3rd: Fr. Walton will bring communion to the sick and housebound next Friday, May3rd at the usual times.  If there are others who would like to receive communion from Fr. Walton on the First Friday of each month, please let him know.

Family Masses for May
The Family masses for May will be on 4th and 5th May. As usual, the choir will have a practice starting a half an hour before mass: all are very welcome to join.

Rosary for the month of May
Rosary for the month of May will be said at Our Lady’s Grotto, Glengoole on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, 1st – 3rd May at 7.30pm

Retirement of Church Sacristan
As was published on the newsletter over the past few weeks, John Morris has indicated his intention to retire as sacristan of Glengoole Church. The closing date for applicants for the vacant position was last Friday, April 26th for which there were no applicants. If there are no applicants within the coming days or no volunteers willing to undertake the position between them, then Glengoole Church will be without a sacristan within the coming fortnight.

Job description includes – opening and closing of Church each day, available for masses and Church services, funerals, baptisms, etc., cleaning of Church, getting altar ready for masses. Full details and application form available from Fr Walton PP. If  anyone is interested in taking on the position on a part-time basis or in doing it with two or more others on a voluntary basis, please contact Fr. Walton within the next week.

50th Anniversary Pilgrimage to Lourdes
Cashel & Emly Archdiocesan 50th Anniversary Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from June 14th - 20th. Pilgrimage Director: Rev. Jimmy Donnelly. National Pilgrimage for Life
National Pilgrimage for Life, organised by the Council for Life of the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference, will be celebrated on Saturday 4th May, in Knock Shrine with Mass at 3.00pm in the Basilica including Anointing of the Sick.  Main celebrant and homilist will be Archbishop Francis Duffy.  We invite you to join us in Knock to celebrate the gift of life and to pray for the protection of all human life.

Gortnahoe Bingo
Gortnahoe Bingo continues each Saturday evening at the earlier time of 4pm with doors open from 3pm. Over €2,660 in prize money on offer including a special €500 game.

May Procession
Celebrate the month of May and honour our Lady in the newly developed Loughtagalla Park, Thurles on Wednesday 1st May at 7:45pm with rosary, hymns and blessing of Our Lady's statue. All welcome.
