The Rosary will be recited before Mass in Glengoole on Saturday evenings.
Mission Sunday
Next Sunday, October 22nd, is Mission Sunday. The theme for this year is: "Hearts on fire, Feet on the move" inspired by the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus in St. Luke's Gospel. Envelopes for your contribution to the Missions, which is totally voluntary, are available in both Churches this weekend and during the week.
Holiday Break
Fr. Walton will be away for the coming week - Monday 16th October to Saturday, 21st October - on a short break. For emergency calls only, please contact any of the neighbouring priests.
Evening of Discussion and Reflection for Readers
An evening of Renewal for current Ministers of the Word (Readers) and Support for new readers will be held in Bothar na Naomh, Thurles on Wednesday, Nov. 29th from 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Archbishop O'Reilly and Catherine McCormack will be facilitating this course. All parishes within our parish Pastoral Combination are being asked to invite their Ministers of the Word to attend.
The Rosary
The Rosary will be recited before Mass in Glengoole on Saturday evenings. Ask Mary to accompany you in the recitation of the Rosary and inspire you to take your prayer into your daily actions. The Rosary is a beloved prayer among Catholics around the world. It is a meditative aid that can bring people closer to Jesus, through his mother, Mary.

Holy Communion at Home
If anyone is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion – we can organise to have it brought to you safely.
Eldercare services through MFRC Glengoole, Thurles Co. Tipperary:
- A social gathering takes place every Tuesday Morning at 11am in the Old School House, The Commons. Please come along for a cup of tea and a chat.
- Men on the Move exercise classes take place every Monday morning from 11:15 to 12:15 in the MFRC Glengoole. Classes are free of charge, please come along.
- Meals on wheels deliveries every Tuesday and Thursday.
- Social group every Wednesday 1-3pm, includes soup, dinner & entertainment.
- Laundry service.
- Senior Alert scheme for the Gortnahoe-Glengoole area.
- Dementia Cáfe 1st Tuesday of each month 11:30-1pm.

Liturgical Music Workshop
Sr. Marie Dunne, CHF, will present a Liturgical Music Workshop in Bóthar na Naomh Church on Sunday, Oct. 22nd from 2.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. If you would like to learn some new Liturgical Music with a focus on November and Advent please come along. Please contact Ann on 086 3618534 to register.

Tipperary Studies hosts lecture
Tipperary Studies hosts the lecture ‘The surviving 1766 religious census returns for Cashel and Emly Diocese’ by Dr Brian Gurrin in The Source on Tuesday 17th October at 7.00p.m. Tea served and all welcome.

Old School House
The Old School in Gortnahoe stood on the site where the Prayer Garden is now beside the Church. It is intended to record the history of the School. If anyone has photographs or paper clippings of the Old School in Gortnahoe, could they forward them to Richard Dunne, Graigue, phone 086 607 5281. All contributions will be copied and returned.

Split the Pot Envelopes available at usual outlets. Draw Sunday at 12pm in Gortnahoe Hall.
Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall
Gortnahoe Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall every Saturday night at 7pm. Over €2,660 in prize money. Parish support is appreciated.
