Cemetery Masses
Following discussion with the priests in our combination group of parishes, it was decided that the cemetery masses for 2023 will take place in the churches at the weekend masses over the summer.
Glengoole Community Group
There was a great turnout for the clean up of the village which made a huge improvement in just one morning. Sub committees have been formed to follow up on plans and events for our village. Check out and follow ‘Glengoole’ on Facebook and Instagram. Our next meeting is on Wednesday, 21st June at 7.30pm in Glengoole Hall. Come and join us, all are welcome.
Pilgrimage to Lourdes Grotto Mass
Cashel & Eemly Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes Grotto Mass will be live streamed on Tues. June 20th at 7.30am (Irish Time). Log on to www.lourdes-france.org and click Live from the Grotto. We pray for all pilgrims travelling to Lourdes and wish them a safe journey
Regional Stroke Conference & Awareness Event
Regional Stroke Conference & Awareness Event on Monday June 26th, from 9:30am to 1:30pm in the Talbot Hotel, Clonmel. Minister of State at the Department of Health, Mary Butler, T.D. will attend. The purpose of the event is to promote awareness around stroke, aphasia and brain injury, rehab and recovery, support for family and carers, risks and prevention, healthy lifestyle, medical advancements in various treatments and stroke survivor stories. Guest speakers and information stands. Entry free and all are welcome.
Evening for bereaved parents
Anam Cara Tipperary the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding its monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Monday 19th June at 7:15pm in the Horse and Jockey Hotel, Thurles. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not. We also offer an online meeting. Cake Sale & Coffee Morning on Thursday 22nd June in Community Hall Gortnahoe from 10.30 onwards after school mass to aid in costs of Judicial Review of mast location. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall every Saturday night at 7.00pm with
doors opening at 6.00pm. Over €2,660 in prize money. Parish support is appreciated.

A Father’s Day Prayer
Bless all the father’s in the world. Father, we ask that you guide them to be good role models and loving to their children. We also ask that you help them to be a father like you are. Give them grace and patience to handle situations in a loving way. Amen.
