Bernadette died on Thursday 8th June 2023, and is reposing at her daughter’s residence (Eircode E41 D6F4) this Sunday evening from 4pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Monday in the Church of St. Patrick and St. Oliver, Glengoole at 11.30am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Holy Communion at Home
If anyone is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion – we can organise to have it brought to you safely.

The Rosary
The Rosary will be recited before Mass in Glengoole on Saturday evenings.

Open evening on Tuesday 13th June at 7.30pm in Glengoole National School. There will also be an opportunity to enrol your son/daughter for the next 5 academic years.  Save Glengoole National School from Closure

Kilcooley Parish Fete
Kilcooley Parish Fete will take place on Sunday 11th June from 1pm in Kilcooley Church grounds. Dog Show – 8 classes with judging starting at 2pm, Bottle Stall, BBQ, Cake Stall, Games, Plant Stall, Vintage Clothing and Accessories, Raffle, Tea and Coffee and much more.

Ballynonty Community Field Festival
Sean Healy Memorial 5k Road Race, Fun Run and Walk on Thursday 8th June at 7pm. Folk That Live with BBQ in Community field on Saturday, 10th June at 8pm. Family Fun Day on Sunday, 11th June.

Regional Stroke Conference & Awareness Event
Regional Stroke Conference & Awareness Event on Monday June 26th, from 9:30am to 1:30pm in the Talbot Hotel, Clonmel. Minister of State at the Department of Health, Mary Butler, T.D. will attend. The purpose of the event is to promote awareness around stroke, aphasia and brain injury, rehab and recovery, support for family and carers, risks and prevention, healthy lifestyle, medical advancements in various treatments and stroke survivor stories. Guest speakers and information stands. Entry free and all are welcome.

Anam Cara Tipperary
Anam Cara Tipperary the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding it's monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Monday 19th June at 7:15pm in the Horse and Jockey Hotel, Thurles. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not. Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall
Gortnahoe Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall every Saturday night at 7.00pm with doors opening at 6.00pm. Over €2,660 in prize money. Parish support is appreciated.
