If anyone is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion – we can organise to have it brought to you safely.
Christmas Carol Service
Thanks very much to all the children and teachers of Gortnahoe, Ballysloe and Glengoole schools for the lovely carol service on Thursday evening (15th)!
Drive In Bingo
Drive In Bingo with €3,000 Prize money takes place every Saturday at 3.00pm with gates open at 2.00pm in Cantwell's Electrical Engineering Ltd., via Mary Willies, E41 C4V8. A Special Christmas Bingo on Saturday 17th December with prize money of €5,000
Split the Pot
For the next 3 weeks in the run up to Christmas two extra envelopes will be drawn winning a festive treat. Envelopes available from all the usual places and in the Hall after Mass in Gortnahoe on Sunday.
Bridge Every Tuesday night
Bridge takes place every Tuesday night in Gortnahoe Hall at 7.30pm. Contact: 089 4349106.
Christmas Concert with Liam Lawton
Templemore Christmas Concert with Liam Lawton in Sacred Heart Church Templemore on Sunday 11th December at 7.30pm in aid of Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Parent Evening for bereaved parents
Anam Cara meeting for bereaved parents is holding its monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Monday 19th December at 7:15pm in the Horse and Jockey. We also offer an online meeting. Contact us on info@anamcara.ie or 085 288 8888.
Gortnahoe Community Hall Christmas Draw
Gortnahoe Community Hall Christmas Draw on Sunday 18th December for the upkeep of the hall. Tickets and flyers are being delivered to each house can be returned to the Hall Committee or to the Hall on Sunday from 11.00am to 12.00 noon There will be great prizes on offer, first prize will be €300, second prize €200, third prize Christmas hamper, fourth prize €100, fifth prize Christmas cake and a bottle of whiskey and many other prizes. The Christmas Draw will be an important fundraiser for the upkeep of the Community Hall.
