Special Blessing - Bambinelli Sunday
Bring your Baby Jesus for a Special Blessing Saturday 10th & Sunday, December 11, 2022. The parish will mark the Third Sunday of Advent with Bambinelli Sunday, where families are
invited to bring their baby Jesus from the crib at home to be blessed at mass in Glengoole at 6.30pm & Gortnahoe at 10.30am.
Advent talks at Glenstal Abbey
Beginning Anew – continue each Sunday leading to Christmas at 4.30pm in the Abbey Library and are live streamed. They will be followed by refreshments and sung evening prayer. Suggested donation €20.
St. Vincent de Paul Annual Collection
St. Vincent de Paul Annual Collection will take place outside both Churches on Fri 9th, Sat 10th and Sun 11th December. Your support would be very much appreciated.

Drive In Bingo
Drive In Bingo with €3,000 Prize money takes place every Saturday at 3.00pm with gates open at 2.00pm in Cantwell's Electrical Engineering Ltd., via Mary Willies, E41 C4V8. A Special Christmas Bingo on Saturday 17th December with prize money of €5,000
Split the Pot
For the next 3 weeks in the run up to Christmas two extra envelopes will be drawn winning a festive treat. Envelopes available from all the usual places and in the Hall after Mass in Gortnahoe on Sunday.

Templemore Christmas Concert with Liam Lawton in Sacred Heart Church Templemore on Sunday 11th December at 7.30pm in aid of Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Parent Evening for bereaved parents

Christmas Hampers Raffle in aid of the new Sensory Room in Gortnahoe Playschool. Tickets on sale from this week in Gortnahoe Hall from 12:30 to 13:00 Monday to Friday
Community Hall Christmas Draw
Gortnahoe Community Hall Christmas Draw on Sunday 18th December for the upkeep of the hall. Tickets and flyers are being delivered to each house can be returned to the Hall Committee or to the Hall during the week. Great prizes on offer.
