Collection for the Sacristans of our Churches
Annual Collection for the Sacristans of our Churches takes place this weekend. To mark your appreciation of the great work and attention shown by our sacristans, Bridie and Eileen, please be generous in your contribution. This is the only collection taken up each year for our sacristans.

Marking Catholic Schools Week in Glengoole
Marking Catholic Schools Week, the children of Glengoole N.S. will attend 9.30 Mass. The children’s grandparents are invited also to the Mass and to refreshments afterwards.

Special Prayer Service Gortnahoe
Wednesday Special Prayer Service in honour of St. Bridget and blessing of St. Bridget Crosses with all grandparents in the school at 11.15.

First Thursday, Feast of Candlemas
Glengoole: Blessing of Candles at 7.00, followed by Mass in Latin. Come and get a blessed candle after Mass.

Family Mass in Glengoole
February Family Mass will be on Sunday 5th February in Glengoole at 10.00 and Gortnahoe at 11.15. Preparation Meeting will be on Tuesday night 31st in Gortnahoe Hall at 7.00. Supporters please come along.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration this week in Glengoole on Wednesday from 10,.00 to 8.00 and Gortnahoe, Thursday 10.00 to 7.00

Vocation Promotion
A chance to reflect, think and chat and hopefully help to answer that ‘Call to Priesthood’ Question. Defibrillator Group looking for trained helpers
Gortnahoe-Glengoole Defibrillator Group are looking for anyone trained in CPR and the use of a AED Machine to join our DEFIB ROTA to ensure the continuation of this service. Names can also be given to Ann Stokes in the Post Office or Annette on 086 3210832 for those who wish to be trained to join the Group.

St. Vincent de Paul meeting
Meeting of St. Vincent de Paul Society in Ballysloe N.S. on Monday night at 7.30.

Parenting Support & Advice Drop-In Clinic
MFRC will provide a Parenting Support & Advice Drop-In Clinic in Gortnahoe Community Centre (upstairs) every fortnight on Thursday morning from 10.30 to 1230, starting February 2nd. Just come along. Further info from Julie at 052 9157992.

Mindfulness Course
Mindfulness Course AT MFRC, Glengoole will take place on Thursday mornings from 10.30 to 12.30, for six weeks, beginning January 26th. Cost is €20.00. Places are limited, so contact the Centre at 052 9157992.

This week there was no winner of the Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 10, 12, 25 & 26. Jackpot was €20,000. Lucky Dip winners were Joe O’Sullivan, Littleton.
