Carol Service Practice
Choir Practice for all choirs, singers and musicians will be in Glengoole Church on Wed. 30th Nov at 8.00. Prepare for the Carol Service on Dec. 11th

Reflective Nights during Advent
Pastoral Letter of Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly, invites us to take part in three reflective nights during Advent in our area, which will be at the Fr. Tirry Hall in Fethard, to share and be nourished at the table of God’s Word. The first night will be on this Tuesday night 29th November at 7.30, followed by 6th December and 13th December, each night at 7.30. We encourage you to come to these inspiring and worthwhile occasions.

St. Vincent de Paul Society’s Christmas Hamper/Assistance Programme
St. Vincent de Paul Society Meeting on Monday night in Ballysloe School at 7.30. The Society will be adopting the same approach to the Christmas hamper/Assistance Programme as last year. We will try to assist those in most need of help. Application Forms for Assistance available in Churches, Gortnahoe P.O., Glengoole M.F.R. Centre from Dec. 4th to 11th. For help please fill out the Application and return in sealed envelope to Gortnahoe Post Office or Glengoole M.F.R.Centre by December 11th.

Parish Annual Launch
The Launch of Our Parish Annual will take place on Thursday next Dec. 1st at 8.00 in Gortnahoe Hall. Come along and show your delight in getting this wonderful book. Cost is €10.00. Launch will be by Fr. Tony Ryan.

Sale of Work
Annual Sale of Work will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Sunday 4th December starting at 1.30.. Circulars and tickets have been distributed this week. Buy the tickets and return the money and stubs to the organisers.

Senior Citizens Christmas Party
Senior Citizens Christmas Party will take place on Wednesday 7th Dec., not 1st Dec as advertised on last week’s Newsletter at the Millennium Family Resource Centre, Glengoole – including Raffle. Bookings on 052 9157992. Chiropodist at the Centre on Thursday 1st Dec. Book your place.

Derek O’Brien’s Retirement Function
All are invited to the School Hall on Saturday 3rd December at 6.00 to mark Derek’s retirement and afterwards to join us at Mass at 7.45pm. A special invitation to all past pupils and former members of the Boards of Managements to come to this special night.

Senior Citizens Club Day
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Club Day will be on Tuesday next 29th November. Mass will be offered for all deceased members. Church Gate Collection on Saturday and Sunday at both Churches..

Bingo starting at Buddy Brennans, Glengoole on Thursday 1st December at 8.30. Great prizes. Tea, coffee & snacks also available.
