Gortnahoe: each morning at 9.30.
Glengoole: each morning at 9.30.

Christmas Carol Service
Annual Parish Christmas Carol Service will take place this year in Glengoole Church on Sunday 16th December. All groups who take part in this Service are asked to meet to discuss their involvement so that all can be planned and arranged at a meeting to be held shortly.

Gortnahoe Folk Choir
There will be a Folk Choir Practice next Wednesday 14th November in the church at 8.00, in preparation for the Carol Service in Glengoole Church on Sunday 16th December, also for Christmas Eve Mass in Gortnahoe. Anybody who would love to sing or play music with us would be most welcome.

Cemetery Rosaries
The Rosary will be recited each Sunday in November in Glengoole, Gortnahoe and Good Shepherd cemeteries after Mass, in Boulick, Fennor and Aglish at 1.30 and in Ballinalackin at 3.00.

Service of Light
CONSOLE invite family and friends to the annual Service of Light to remember the life of their loved one who has died by suicide at Bothar na Naomh Church, Thurles on Sunday 25th Nov. at 4.00. Guest speakers are John Lonergan and Pat Whelan. All are welcome.

Shopping Trip
Gortnahoe Senior Citizens are going on a Shopping Trip to the Arboretum in Carlow on 20th Nov. at 12.45. Bus leaves from Hall. Charge is €10.00, including refreshments. Names to Ann Stokes at the Post Office.

Parish Annual
All are invited to the launch of the 2012 Parish Annual in Gortnahoe Community Centre on Friday 30th November at 8 pm. Guest of Honour will be Fr. Joe Walsh. Refreshments will be served. Please come along to meet Fr. Joe and be one of the first to buy the book.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the €13,400 Jackpot on 8th Nov. at Hogan’s, Grange. Numbers drawn were 2, 20, 26 and 30. Lucky Dip winners were Breda Hogan, Clonora, Collette Gaynor, Rathdowney, Ellie Quinlan, c/o Andy Gorman, Jamie Burke, Urard. €25 prize winner was P.J. Gleeson. Next Draw for € 13,600 at Dollys, Glengoole on 15th November.

Drama
Glengoole-Gortnahoe Drama Group present “Dispensary Dan” and “Never Again” by Pat Langton, in aid of Gortnahoe Playground Group in Gortnahoe Hall on Friday 16th November at 8.30. Admission €8.00 for adults and €3.00 for children. Tickets can be bought from the Post Office.

Table Quiz
As there are so many functions on Friday night 16th, the Table Quiz for Ballysloe School will now take place on Friday night 23rd Nov at Hogans, Ballysloe. We hope this ensures that everyone who wants to take part can do so. A most enjoyable night is guaranteed. Please support.
