Area Mass in Ballynonty
Area Mass in Ballynonty will be at the centre on Monday night. with Confessions at 7.30 and Mass at 8.00. A warm welcome to all.
Parish Confessions for Easter on Tuesday
Glengoole: Confessions starting at 6.30. Mass at 7.00.
Gortnahoe: Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.
Annual Chrism Mass
Annual Chrism Mass will be in the Cathedral, Thurles on Wednesday at 7.30 at which the Holy Oils for the year in the archdiocese will be blessed. Come along to represent your family and the parish.
Holy Thursday
Mass of the Lord’s Supper in both Churches at 8.00. Please bring your Trocaire contributions, in notes rather than coin, if possible. Procession to the Altar of Repose after Mass, followed by Confessions. Please come to a Holy Hour in each Church from 10.00 to 11.00.
Good Friday
Day of Fast and Abstinence: Ceremonies in both churches at 3.00. Stations of the Cross at 7.30. A Collection for the Holy Places will be taken up at both ceremonies. Confessions after ceremonies.
Holy Saturday Confessions
Confessions in Glengoole at 12.00, and in Gortnahoe at 12.30.
Easter Vigil
Ceremonies and Easter Mass at 9.00 in both Churches, includes Easter Fire, blessing of Paschal Candle and Easter Water, renewal of our Baptismal Promises and the Easter Mass. No Masses at 6.30 or 7.45.
Easter Sunday Masses
Easter Sunday Masses in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15
Priests Collection
The Easter Clergy Collection will be taken up at all Masses on Easter week-end. Everyone is asked to contribute generously, remembering that there are still only four Clergy Collections in the year. Envelopes were distributed in January. We ask the usual collectors to attend.
No organised Adoration this week
There is no organised adoration of the Blessed Sacrament this week.

Trip to see Willoughby Brothers
Senior Citizens will travel to Bru Boru on Friday 21st April, to concert by Willoughby Brothers. Cost €22.50. Names to Post Office by 15th April

Good Friday Bingo will be in Gortnahoe at 8.30. Wonderful prizes.

St. Vincent de Paul Meeting Ballysloe N.S. on Monday 10th April at 7.30.
MFRC News
Annual 5k fun Run/Walk and Easter Egg Hunt to Lake Derryvilla will take place on Good Friday 14th April at 12 noon. €10 for Adult. €15 for family. Registration from 11.30 at Centre, Glengoole. Raffle for Easter Hamper afterwards at the Centre.
Stone Wall Building
Free Course on Stone Wall Building will take place in Glengoole – Tuesday mornings, starting 2nd May for 4 weeks. Contact Julie at 052 9157992.
Village Clean up on Good Friday
Glengoole Tidy Towns Village Clean up will be on Good Friday 14th April starting outside the Church at 9.45, continuing until 12.00. Come along. Work will continue every Monday evening from 6.30 to 8.30 from now on.
G.A.A. Lotto Results
