The monthly Family Mass for September is this Sunday in Glengoole at 10.00 and Gortnahoe at 11.15. Thanks for all your support.
Preparing for the New Church Missal
This new missal for the English speaking world will be introduced before the end of the year. As some responses are altered, we invite all to learn the changes and use the new responses. Our Missalettes are gradually introducing those changes, beginning this week-end. So please have a missalette with you at each Mass you are attending.
Parish Annual Meeting
As the publishing date for the Parish Annual is coming close, all organisations and individuals are asked to give their articles and photos in time for the next meeting on this Tuesday night 13th September at 9.00 in the Parochial House.
Memorial for 10th Anniversary of the 9/11 Disaster
As we remember those who died on that day, we remember Dave Fontana who lost his life as a Fireman. His great grandmother was Ellen Norton from Glengoole.

There was one winner of the €13,600 Jackpot on the 8th September in the Draw held in Dolly’s, Glengoole. . The numbers drawn were 4, 10, 16 and 25. The winner was Nellie Campion, Graiguewood. Next Draw for € 2,000 on 15th September at Corcorans, Grange. Please support.
Gortnahoe Youths F.C.
We wish our U12 and U14 teams the best of luck next Saturday 17th Sept. when they play their first ever matches in the Sth. Tipp League. U12 versus Vee Rovers away at 1.00 and our U14s play Clonmel Town in Gortnahoe at 1.00 . U10 League starts in October. Any new players interested in joining are more than welcome.
Gortnahoe Community Field
We launched our popular 500 Club Draw during the week and tickets are on sale. This is a confined Draw , so we urge people to buy early. All proceeds go back into the Field Development.

North Tipp VEC are holding an Information Evening on Wednesday 14th Sept. from 3.00 to 8.00 at the Anner Hotel, Thurles, with a view to providing part time courses funded by Department of Education and Skills Back to Education Jobs Initiative.
