Prayer to our Guardian Angel
O Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits me here. Ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
Feasts at the beginning of October
1st St. Therese: We know her as ‘The Little Flower’. We call to mind the huge crowds that expressed their attachment to her on the visit of her relics throughout Ireland. Continue your devotion.
2nd The Guardian Angels: Through our lives we have been familiar with the above prayer. Without knowing the different ways they guard us, we trust them.
4th St Francis of Assisi: To him we owe the inspirational crib. He was a saint who carried the stigmata during his life. He promoted the love of birds and animals. He also founded the Franciscan Order. Thank God for such a saint.
7th Our Lady of the Rosary: The community prayer we use so often. At the time of death we are so glad to have such a prayer. It is the great Family Prayer.
