Area Mass
There will be an area Mass in Ballynonty Community Centre on Monday night. Confessions 7.30. Mass 8.00.
Choir
The Glengoole Choir will hold a practice in preparation for Christmas on Wednesday night at 8.00 in Glengoole Church. All singers please come along.
Drama
Glengoole Gortnahoe Drama Graoup will present three one act plays, ‘The Bell of Boolavogue”, ‘The Merchant of Ennis” and ‘We are the Brannigans’ in Gortnahoe Hall this Sunday night at 8.30. The proceeds of the plays are for Gortnahoe Church Restoration Fund. Please support.
Party
The Gortnahoe Senior Citizens Party will be held on this Sunday in Gortnahoe Hall, 1.30 for dinner at 2.00. A very warm welcome to all.
Collection
The Annual Collection for the Vincent de Paul Society is being held this week-end. All donations to the Fund are needed and are most welcome.
Gortnahoe Church Restoration Committee
The meeting of the Gortnahoe Church Restoration Committee will be on this Tuesday night 11th December at 8.30.
Gortnahoe Choir
Gortnahoe Folk Choir will be singing again at the Christmas Eve Mass. In preparation three practices will be held in Gortnahoe Hall. The next will be held on Wednesday 12th December in Gortnahoe Hall at 8.00. New singers and instrumentalists are most welcome.
Meeting
There will be a meeting of Gortnahoe Development Group in Gortnahoe Hall on Wednesday night at 9.00. Further discussion and work on the care and development of the village as well as promotion of a Community Field will be dealt with. John Fahey will attend. Please come along.
Liturgy Course
The third of a three night Liturgy Course will be in Ballingarry Church on Thursday night next 13th December from 8.00 to 9.30.
Parish Annual
Parish Annual is now available. It is bigger and fuller this year and very good value for € 8.00. It is certainly a very good read for everyone including emigrants and is on sale in the Post Office and local shops.
GAA
Club Meeting on Wednesday 12th December at 8.00 and a date for your new diary is the Adjourned Convention on 25th January 2008.
