Fifth Sunday Of Easter:
As we come to the third quarter of our first year of fund raising and organising for the restoration of Gortnahoe church we wish to express our sincerest thanks for the wonderful generosity of our parishioners and friends. We are well on target at the moment and we encourage everyone to make a special effort during these three months to ensure they are fully involved. David Kelly, our engineer, has now sent out the tenders for the external work on the church and the grounds to the interested contractors and please God work will be under way shortly. All donations from every friend of Gortnahoe, wherever you are in the world, are most welcome. The donation forms are available in the churches or on our web site www.glengoole.net 

Morning Masses:
Glengoole: each day at 9.30am   
     
Prayer for Vocations:

We invite the return of the names of all families who are willing to be part of the prayer campaign for vocations for a week. Please leave the completed forms in the boxes in the church or porches. 

First Communion:
We offer our sincerest congratulations to the children from Glengoole and Ballysloe Schools who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday. They were Roisin Lahart, Kilbraugh, Teresa Lanigan, Clonamondra, Megan Ryan, Derryvilla, Rebecca and Rachel Maher, Aubrey Road, Johnny O’Reilly, Aubrey Road, John Lanigan, Poynstown, John Rafter, Derryvilla, Dylan and Thomas Kennedy, Aubrey Road, Bill Phelan, Lanespark and Eoin Toohey, Aubrey Road. May God bless and reward their families and the teachers who prepared them so well. 

Meeting:
There will be a meeting of the St.Vincent de Paul Conference in Ballysloe School on Tuesday night at 7.30pm

May Procession:
in Glengoole next Sunday 21st after 11.00am Mass.     

Meeting:
The annual general meeting of St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society will be held on Tuesday 30th May in St. Patrick’s College Thurles, beginning with Mass at 7.30.
