Cheque payments for All Church collections
Reminder that cheque payments for All Church collections throughout the year must be made out to “Gortnahoe Parochial Account” and not to the name of the collection.
Church Opening and Closing Times
As from last Thursday, August 8th, the main entry door (front left) into Glengoole Church has an electronic locking system. This door will automatically lock and unlock each
morning and evening and operate on the same principal of a hotel room fob or card. From this weekend, both Churches will open each morning at 9.00am and close at 6.00pm in summertime and 4.00pm in wintertime.
Primary Schools Re-opening
A
ll three schools in the Parish (Gortnahoe, Ballysloe and Glengoole) will re-open next Thursday, August 29th.
Our Lady of Fatima National Pilgrimage
Our Lady of Fatima National Pilgrimage in Holycross Abbey on Sunday, 25th August at 2.30pm - Rosary, Stations of the Cross, Anointing of the Sick finishing with Mass at 4pm.

Concert in the Cathedral of the Assumption

Holycross Abbey Solemn Novena 8th – 16th September 2024
Sessions each day at 7am, 10.30am, 4.30pm and 7.30pm. (Please note there is a 12.30pm session on Sundays but no 4.30pm). Special Sessions: Penitential Service, Friday 13th at 7.30pm; Anointing of the Sick, Saturday 14th at 2pm and Blessing of Infants on Sunday 15th at 2.30pm. Thurles Special Olympics Club
