Dr. Tom Stokes, Blackheath, London, formerly Graiguemane, Coalbrook, whose funeral has taken place in Blackheath. His ashes will be buried in Glengoole Church Cemetery on Friday, July 26th following Mass at 12 noon in Glengoole Church.

Mass for the deceased in Good Shepherd Cemetery will take place in the cemetery on Thursday, July 11th at 7.30pm.
Thursday, 25th July: Fennor Cemetery.
Thursday, 15th August: Boulick Cemetery.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel
A vigil in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will be held in Bóthar na Naomh Church on Tuesday, July 16th with Rosary from 6.15pm followed by Mass at 7pm and Holy Hour from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Led by Fr. Damien Polly O.P. All are welcome.

- Sunday, July 28th: Pilgrimage for World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly.
- Sunday, August 4th: Annual Diocesan (Cashel & Emly) Pilgrimage Day. Further details shortly.
All pilgrimages include 3pm Mass followed by Eucharistic Blessing and Procession to the Shrine.
World day for Grandparents and Elderly - Sunday, July 28th
This Day was established by Pope Francis in 2021 in recognition of Grandparents and the Elderly for their role and vocation in passing on their faith to the next generation. The theme for this year is: “Do not cast me off in my old age” (Psalm 71:9).
Milleniuim Family Resource Centre
Milleniuim Family Resource Centre will run a mini camp for children with autism aged 5 – 7 years. Tuesday, 8th July, Music; Wednesday, 9th July, Art and Thursday, 10th July, Blossom Yoga. All classes will run from 10am to 12 noon and the total cost for the three classes is €15. Spaces are limited – contact Julie on 083 – 1008075 to book.

125th Anniversary Fennor Creamery
Fennor Creamery will celebrate the 125th Anniversary of its foundation this year. A booklet to commemorate the event will be published later in the year. We would appreciate any photos, newspaper articles or stories in relation to Fennor, Ballysloe and Grange creameries. All photos and articles will be returned to the owners.

Annual Famine 1848 Walk
Martin Maher, Chairman, Ballingarry 1848 committee, will lead the 18th annual Famine 1848 Walk on Sat. 27 July at 3pm starting at the National Flag monument in The Commons and proceeding to Famine Warhouse 1848, the state national heritage site. This year's Walk will celebrate Ballingarry's new Famine Rising 1848 murals. All are welcome.
In July, we pray with Pope Francis that the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick may grant the Lord's strength to those who receive it and to their loved ones, and that it may become for everyone an ever more visible sign of compassion and hope.
