Rosary for the month of May
Rosary for the month of May will be said at Our Lady’s Grotto, Glengoole on weekday evenings at 7.30pm, Saturday before 6pm Mass and Sunday 12 noon.

If anyone is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion – we can organise to have it brought to you safely

Visits to the Sick and Housebound       
As well as visiting the elderly and those confined to their homes, it is the duty of every priest to also visit those residing in Nursing homes or sick in hospital. If there is anyone who would like a visit, please contact Fr. Walton PP with details.

Cashel Curia will meet parishioners after Mass
Legionaries from Cashel Curia will meet parishioners after Mass in Glengoole on Saturday evening, 25th May and in Gortnahoe on Sunday morning, 26th May.

50th Anniversary Pilgrimage to Lourdes

New Senior Citizens' Committee
A general meeting will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Wednesday, 8th May at 8.00 p.m. with a view to forming a new Senior Citizens' Committee going forward.  As the existing committee has retired it would be a pity not to continue the good work they have done throughout the years.  It would be great to see a good attendance on the night.

Sacristan Position, Glengoole Church
The retirement of John Morris as sacristan of Glengoole Church (announced 6 weeks ago) takes effect from this weekend and we wish John every good wish and blessing in his retirement. We thank him for his commitment and dedication to all the preparations for the ceremonies in the Church particularly during covid times. We also thank him for his assistance to the priests in particular the late Fr Irwin PP. With effect from this Sunday, May 19th, there will be no sacristan in Glengoole Church. Temporary arrangements are in place to keep the Church open until an automatic door locking system is put in place.

Padre Pio National Pilgrimage 2024
In Holy Cross Abbey on Sunday 26th May with ceremonies beginning at 1.30pm & concelebrated Mass at 3pm. All are welcome

Bereavement Support Information Talk
Bereavement Support Information Talk (free) in Milford Care Centre, Education Department, Tue 28th May, 7pm - 8.30pm. The evening will comprise of a short talk by a Bereavement Counsellor, Different experiences of Grief, Services available and Question Time.

Gortnahoe Bingo continues each Saturday evening at the earlier time of 4pm with doors open from 3pm. Over €2,660 in prize money on offer including a special €500 game.
