The Rosary
The Rosary will be recited after Mass in Gortnahoe on Sunday mornings in November;
in Boulick and Aglish Cemeteries at 1.30pm each Sunday in November; and
before Mass in Glengoole every Saturday evening.

Holy Communion for coeliacs (gluten free) is available at all Masses

If you are paying your contribution by cheque to the collections such as the Common Fund/Priest’s Collection, Diocesan Services, Missions, Trocaire, etc., please make your cheque payable to ‘Gortnahoe Parish a/c’ as this is the only account name that the bank will accept.
St. Vincent de Paul
The Society oSt. Vincent de Paul f would like to thank everyone for your very generous support to the Annual Collection last weekend. €1,567 was collected and this will be used to help people in our community who needs an extra bit of support at this time of year.
Christmas Assistance From St. Vincent de Paul Society
Christmas is just around the corner and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are hoping to be able to assist the people in our parish who most need help at this time of year. We will be making the most efficient use of our limited funds. If you need financial help for Christmas please contact Limerick Office on 061 317327 before December 9th. We will be in touch with you in early December. The SVP will do their very best to give help to as many as possible in these challenging times.
Gortnahoe Community Hall Christmas Draw
Gortnahoe Community Hall Christmas Draw takes place on Sunday 17th December in the Hall. Tickets available from Committee members and in the hall prior to the draw. Great prizes. Support this important fundraiser for the upkeep of the Community Hall.
Bingo in Gortnahoe Hall
Gortnahoe Bingo in Gortnahoe Hall continues this Saturday at 4pm, doors open at 3pm and will continue each Saturday evening at the same time. Over €2,660 in prize money including a special €500 game. We look forward to your support.
Split the Pot
Split the Pot Envelopes available at usual outlets. Draw Sunday at 12pm in Gortnahoe Hall.
Millennium Family Resource Centre

Carol Service in the Cathedral
A Carol Service takes place in the Cathedral on Sunday 17th December at 7.30pm. We continue this century old tradition, started by St. Francis of Assisi, of expressing through carols, words and dance our joy at Christmas and the Birth of our Saviour.
Blessing of Archbishop Leahy’s newly repaired and refurbished statue will take place at the end of the Carol Service. Archbishop Leahy was a native of Gortnahoe.
The spirit of the Lord has been given to me.
He has sent me to give the good news to the poor.
