Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Holycross Abbey Solemn Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help will run from Friday Sept. 8th to Saturday Sept. 16th. Weekday sessions at 7.00 a.m., 10.30 a.m., 4.30 p.m. & 7.30 p.m. (please note there is a 12.30 p.m. session on Sunday but no 4.30 p.m.). Blessing of Infants takes place on Sunday 10th Sept. at 2.30pm, Penitential Service on Friday 15th Sept. at 7.30pm and Anointing of the Sick on Saturday 16th Sept. at 2p.m. Confessions will be heard before, during and after each session every day except Sunday.

Table Quiz in Mary Willies on Friday 15th September at 8.30pm, to raise funds for Alex Bartley and Sophie Woodlock, who will be travelling to Kokata, India in March 2024 with the Hope Foundation.
Men on the Move classes
Men on the Move classes starting Monday 11th September 11:15-12:15 in the Millennium Family Resource Centre, Glengoole. Gentle fitness with focus on: Men's Health; Positive Ageing; Maintaining and improving mobility levels; How to work around pain and health issues; Nutrition advice. Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall
Gortnahoe Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall every Saturday night at 7pm. Over €2,660 in prize money. Parish support is appreciated.
St Vincent de Paul – Financial help
There will be some Financial help available for students wishing to pursue Third Level Courses in the coming Academic Year. Please contact 061 317327 or any member of local St Vincent de Paul Society for further information and Application Forms. Proof of Registration from College will be necessary before Applications can be processed and Accommodation Costs should also be included.
