Holy Communion at Home
If anyone is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion – we can organise to have it brought to you safely.

The Rosary
The Rosary will be recited before Mass in Glengoole on Saturday evenings.

Cemetery Masses
Following discussion the cemetery masses for 2023 will take place in the churches at the weekend masses over the summer.

Month’s Mind Mass for Fr. Irwin
The Parish Pastoral Team thanks all who assisted with organising the Month’s Mind Mass for Fr. Irwin and the refreshments afterwards in the hall.

Our Lady of Fatima National Pilgrimage
Our Lady of Fatima National Pilgrimage takes place in Holycross Abbey, Sunday August 27th. Rosary 2.30pm; Stations of the Cross 3.00pm; Anointing of the Sick 3.00-4.00pm. Mass 4.00pm. Celebrant: Fr. Vincent Stapleton. All are welcome.

The next Glengoole Community Group meeting takes place on Wednesday 16th August, 7.30pm in Glengoole Hall

Ballysloe Breakfasts
Full Irish breakfasts for €10 in the Bally tea rooms in the beautiful Sensory Garden. The next date is Sunday 20th August, 10-12.30am.

Split the Pot Envelopes available at usual outlets. Draw Sunday at 12pm in Gortnahoe Hall.

Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall
Gortnahoe Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall every Saturday night at 7pm. Over €2,660 in prize money. Parish support is appreciated.

St Vincent de Paul – Financial help
There will be some Financial help available for students wishing to pursue Third Level Courses in the coming Academic Year. Please contact 061 317327 or any member of local St Vincent de Paul Society for further information and Application Forms. Proof of Registration from College will be necessary before Applications can be processed and Accommodation Costs should also be included.

There is no better example of the Christian life than that offered by Mary. We do not worship Mary or place her above Christ but we come to Christ through Mary as Christ came to us through her.
