  • Sun 14th May – 10.30am, Gortnahoe

  • First Holy Communion takes place in Gortnahoe Church at 11.00am on Saturday 13th May.

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole on Wednesdays 10am to 2pm
Gortnahoe on Thursdays 11am – 1pm

Family Masses in May
Family Masses take place on 6th and 7th May. As usual there will be a music practice from half an hour before the start of each mass, and we warmly welcome any children or adults who would like to join us singing. We will sing some of the hymns from the First Communion service, so we'd be delighted if any of the children would join us.  

Holy Communion at Home
If anyone is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion – we can organise to have it brought to you safely.

The Rosary
The Rosary will be recited before Mass in Glengoole on Saturday evenings.

Collection for Flowers in Gortnahoe

Vigil In Honour Of Our Lady Of Fatima
Friday May 12th in the Cathedral, commencing at 6.30 p.m., Mass 7.00 p.m., concluding at 8.30 p.m. Fr. Francis & Fr. John, Diocese of Mutare, Zimbabwe and currently assisting in Cashel & Emly Diocese, will lead the Vigil.

Padre Pio Pilgrimage 2023
We are happy to announce that devotees of St. Pio will be welcomed back to Holycross Abbey once again for our traditional pilgrimage day Sunday 28th May. Ceremonies will begin at 1.30pm with concelebrated Mass at 3pm.All are welcome

Support for Bereaved Parents
Anam Cara Tipperary the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding it's monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Monday 15th May at 7:15pm in the Horse and Jockey Hotel, Thurles. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.
