Season of Lent begins
Ash Wednesday February 22nd (Wednesday week) will begin the Season of Lent.
Collection Box
Collection box will be available Wednesday and Friday evening Masses, as some people attend those Masses instead of at the weekend.

Diocesan Services Collection will be taken up this weekend.

Glengoole on Wednesdays 10am to 2pm
Gortnahoe on Thursdays 11am – 1pm
Holy Communion at Home
If anyone is housebound and would like to receive Holy Communion – we can organise to have it brought to you safely.
Help avoid the spread of Covid
Due to the rise in Covid numbers we recommend: (a) the wearing of Face Coverings when attending Mass; (b) use of Hand Sanitiser & (c) the reception of Holy Communion on the hands only.
Vigil in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes
Vigil in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes on Friday 10th February 2023 (eve of the Feast Day) in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles. Holy Rosary at 6.30pm, Mass at 7pm and concludes with Adoration from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. All are welcome.

Special Assisted Section:
PLEASE NOTE: There will not be a special assisted section with medical and care staff this year. Hopefully this will resume for 2024. For this year all pilgrims should be able to make the pilgrimage independently or with the assistance of someone accompanying them and taking responsibility for their care.
Split the Pot
Tuesday Bridge - Split the Pot will be in support of the purchase of card tables for the Bridge club which is been played in the Gortnahoe Hall each Tuesday night, If you would like to join the bridge club contact 089 4349106. Split the Pot envelopes are available at the usual outlets. The draw takes place each Sunday at 12pm in Gortnahoe Hall.
Gortnahoe Bingo
Bingo continues in Gortnahoe Hall every Saturday at 7.00pm with doors opening at 6.00pm. Top prize money on offer. Parish support would be appreciated.
Hallelujah Concert
Fr Ray Kelly (Britain’s Got Talent Fame) on Friday March 24th, 2023, in Bóthar na Naomh Church. Tickets now on sale in Thurles Parish Office.
World Youth Day
