Parish Pastoral Team
We had a very successful Seeds of Hope meeting in Glengoole on Wednesday 28th September and thank all who attended and are prepared to be involved in being part of our Parish Pastoral Team. If you were unable to be there and wish to be notified of future meetings or be involved in any of the following – Minister of the Word, Minister of the Eucharist, music/choir, faith and spirituality group, preparation for sacraments, family mass, church maintenance, communication, fundraising, administration, church maintenance, refreshments after mass, please text Carmel Troy, 087-6449674.

Rosary
The Rosary will be said before 6.30pm Mass on Saturday in Glengoole during the month of October.

Coastal Rosary for Faith and Life in Ireland
The Annual Coastal Rosary will take place at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 9th. People from around Ireland are invited to pray the Rosary for Life & Faith at our coasts, grottos, rivers and churches. Simply sign up a Rosary location at www. coastalrosaryireland.ie or text your location to 087 278 6552.

Drive In Bingo
Our drive-in bingo continues on Saturday starting at 5.00pm with gates open at 4.00pm in Cantwell's Electrical Engineering Ltd. carpark, via Mary Willies, E41 C4V8. The Prize money on offer is a great attraction with over €3,000 in total this weekend. There will also be a raffle for cash prizes on the day. Looking forward to your support.

Financial Help for Third Level Students
There will be some financial help available for students wishing to pursue Third Level Courses in the coming Academic Year. Please contact 061 317327 or any member of local St Vincent de Paul Society for further information and Application Forms. Proof of Registration from College will be necessary before Applications can be processed and Accommodation Costs should also be included.

Split The Pot
Local 'Split The Pot' is currently for “Light up Gortnahoe and Ballysloe for Christmas”. Envelopes can be got in Gortnahoe community hall each Sunday after mass. All support would be much appreciated. Best of luck to all. Maria Dooley (087-6777220).
