Parish Seeds of Hope Meeting
There will be a general parish community meeting on Wednesday 28th September from 8 to 9.30pm in Glengoole Hall, to discuss our parish’s response to the ‘Seeds of Hope’ Diocesan Pastoral Plan. This will include a presentation about the plan, and discussion. Please come if you possibly can, as we need as many people as possible to help shape the future plans for our parish.

Deepen Your Catholic Faith Mission
Join Br. Wine, Women, Men, and Song – Exploring the Wedding of Cana

Drive In Bingo
Gortnahoe Community Hall presents drive in bingo this Saturday and every Saturday in Cantwell's carpark @ 5.00 pm, gates open @ 3.45 pm, over €3,000 in prize money. To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of playing Bingo in Gortnahoe a special Drive In Bingo is being organised for Saturday 24th September with Prize money on offer of over €5,000. There will be a raffle on the day and if any individual, club or organisation that uses the hall would like to give a prize for the raffle it would be most appreciated. As this is a special occasion for the hall committee it would be great to see a big turn out from the parish.

Financial Help for Third Level Students
There will be some financial help available for students wishing to pursue Third Level Courses in the coming Academic Year. Please contact 061 317327 or any member of local St Vincent de Paul Society for further information and Application Forms. Proof of Registration from College will be necessary before Applications can be processed and Accommodation Costs should also be included.

Positive Ageing Week

Concert on Friday September 30th, Thurles Cathedral
The Celtic Brothers (formerly known as The Willoughby Brothers) will appear in Concert on Friday September 30, 2022, Thurles Cathedral.  Tickets now available in the Parish Office, Cathedral Street & Bookworm, Liberty Square. Ticket Donation: €30.00. All proceeds towards the Cathedral “Raise the Roof” Project.
