Trocaire
For so many years Irish Catholics have shown their generosity to those who are poverty stricken in the poorer parts of the world by generous contributions to the Lenten Trocaire Fund. Once again we turn to your generosity this Lent. Please get a folder and box for your donations. May we all be inspired to be extra generous as poverty in the world is greater and we have the next couple of weeks to give greater help.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will take place in Glengoole on Wednesday from 10.00 to 6.30 and in Gortnahoe on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.

Morning Masses
Gortnahoe, each morning except Thursday at 9.30
Glengoole every morning at 9.30

Scripture Sharing meetings
Looking at Lent Gospel readings, jointly with neighbouring parish. Tuesdays 10th, 24th, 31st from 7.30pm to around 8.15, in Littleton parish office. Last week was inspiring. Come along this week. For further information, contact Nic on 087 245 9586.

Compline & Craic
Compline & Craic on Monday evenings in Lent (9,16,23,30 March), from 7pm in Hogan’s Bar in Grange. Come along next Monday night.

Bingo at Gortnahoe Hall
Weekly bingo continues this Saturday night in Gortnahoe Hall with over €1650 in prize money and lucky line. Plans will soon be in place for the annual Good Friday bingo. Local support is always welcome. The free library inside the door of the hall has many new books –they’re free to keep.

Table Quiz in  Ballysloe on Friday, 27th March
Table Quiz in Hogans of Ballysloe: on Friday the 27th March at 9pm - all proceeds to local Saint Vincent de Paul Society. Table of four €20.00

Singing for Joy at Millennium Family Resource Centre

Saint Patrick's Day Parade
Moycarkey-Borris Saint Patrick's Day Parade will take place in Littleton on Tuesday March 17th from 10.30am. A special 1920's dress competition will also take place as part of the parade.
