Glengoole: Wednesday at 9.30.

Annual Collection for Sacristans
The Annual Collection for the Sacristans of our Churches is being taken up this week-end, 27th & 28th January. If you have overlooked it, please contribute as soon as possible This is the only collection taken up each year for our sacristans.

Family Mass
February Family Mass will be on Sunday 4th February, in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. The Theme will be "Honouring Grandparents and their Grandchildren"

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00.
Gortnahoe on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.
Come and value adoration.

Saint Bridget
Thursday next is the Feast of St. Bridget. Mass in Gortnahoe will be at 9.30 and in Glengoole, the Latin Mass at 7.00.

First Friday
Friday, the First Friday, is the feast of the Presentation of Our Lord.

Candlemas Day
Candles will blessed at Mass in Glengoole at 7.00 and in Gortnahoe at 8.00. Candles to be blessed will be on sale in local shops and Churches. Blessed candles available after the Blessing in the Churches.

Saturday is the Feast of St. Blaise
Blessing of throats will be included in the Masses on Saturday evening. Glengoole 6.30. Gortnahoe 7.45.

Leinster Final Champs
Congratulations to Liam Hayes, Bobby Doheny & Luke Kavanagh who were on the 1st Year Colaiste Mhuire team that won the Leinster Final beating Mullingar, 2-10 to 2-04 Well done boys

Mass for Grandparents of children
Mass for Grandparents of children attending Glengoole School will be in Glengoole Church on Wednesday Morning at 9.30 . Refreshments after wards at the school.

Ballyboys Vehicle Run Funds
Money raised was €4,500. Distribution as follows, Multiple Sclerosis €2,000. Ballysloe N.S €1,000. Glengoole N.S. €500. Gortnahoe Active Retired €500. Heart to Hand Foundation €500. Thanks to all who so generously donated and supported on the day.

Gortnahoe Community Playgroup
