A diocesan gathering for people and priests will be held in the Ballykisteen Hotel Tipperary on Wed.18th October from 6.30 to 9.15. We are all invited to be ready to be involved in the Church in the future
Good Shepherd Cemetery
The Committee of Good Shepherd Cemetery are holding a Sponsored Bingo in Gortnahoe Hall on Sunday 5th November at 3.00, in aid of the erection of an altar and the figure of Our Lord on the Cross. We are seeking the help of family members of deceased persons buried in in the cemetery for a donation of a minimum of €30 per family to help fund the erection of the altar.
St. Vincent de Paul Society meeting in Ballysloe School
St. Vincent de Paul Society meeting in Ballysloe School on Monday 2nd October at 7.30. The Annual Raffle in aid of the Society will be held at Bongo in Gortnahoe Hall on Saturday 28th October. Members of the Society will be calling to homes in the coming weeks to sell tickets to raise funds for the Society. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
School Photograph Appeal
Gortnahoe School are appealing to anyone who has any school photos, dating back 70 years to bring them to the school on 10th October between 7.00 and 8.00. All photos will be copied and returned on the night. Thanks in advance for your support.
Coffee Morning in Gortnahoe
The Lip Sync Playschool Group are running a Coffee Morning in Gortnahoe Community Hall on Friday 27th Oct. from 9.00 to 12.00. All are welcome. They are also doing a Clothes Collection for Nov. 11th. Donations of bags most welcome. Further information from Sinead at 087 3635471.

Training for Safeguarding Representatives
On Saturday 7th October in the Anner Hotel, Thurles the Archdiocese will hold a training day for any new safeguarding representatives or any representative who has not trained in the past three years . The day is from 9.30 to 4.00
