Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Glengoole on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00. Gortnahoe on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. Come for adoration.

Annual Pilgrimage to Knock
Grandparents National Annual Pilgrimage to Knock on Sunday Sept. 10th: Everybody welcome to honour and thank Grandparents alive or dead for all they have done for us down through the ages. Chief Celebrant will be Archbishop Eamon Martin. Ceremonies begin at 2.30.

Novena in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Holycross Solemn Novena in honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help commences in Holycross Abbey on Friday 8th September until Saturday 16th Sept.. Devotions and Mass daily at 7.00, 10.30, 4.30 7.30 and 9.30. On Saturday 9th Sept. Anointing of the Sick will be at 2pm. On Sunday 10th Sept. the blessing of infants will be at 2.30. Confessions will take place throughout the week.

70th Anniversary of Gortnahoe National School
Gortnahoe National School are celebrating their 70th birthday this year. To mark this occasion a commemorative book is being put together. We would appreciate if anyone who has old school photographs would drop them into the school please.

Visit of the ‘World Meeting of Families’ Icon
Visit of the WMOF 2018 Icon of the Holy Family to Cashel and Emly
Visit of the WMOF 2018 Icon of the Holy Family to Cashel and Emly will begin at Holycross Novena from Friday 8th September until Monday 11th Sept. It will them move to Emly Parish for the Feast of St Ailbe, Patron Saint of our Diocese and remain until the evening of 14th. It then moves to Newport Parish arriving on Friday 15th and leaving the Archdiocese on Monday 18th. The Icon will be accompanied by a Family Petition Box. Special ceremonies can be organised for groups such as School Groups.

New Ballingarry Bingo, commencing September 5th at 8.15 sharp. Over €1,500 in Prizes and new Jackpot Sheet. Please come along.
