Diocesan Launch of World Meeting of Families
Diocesan Launch of World Meeting of Families for each parish of the Archdiocese takes place this week-end. We are invited to make the coming year, leading up to the great World Meeting of Families in August 2018, a year when we appreciate our families and look forward to a visit from his Holiness Pope Francis to coincide with this celebration in the Archdiocese of Dublin. The National Launch will be in Knock on Monday 21st August.

Welcome to Sr. Cecelia Sweeney of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa

400 Club August Draw

Centenary of the Fatima Apparitions
Annual National Pilgrimage of the World Apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima celebrating the Centenary of the Fatima Apparitions will be in Holycross Abbey on Sunday next 27th August, beginning at 2.30.

Kilcooley Fete will be held on this Sunday 20th Aug. at 2.00 in the Church Grounds, Kilcooley. All side Shows and the Dog Show makes a great day.

Fundraising Walk and Cycle
Ballysloe Fundraising Walk and Cycle will take place on Friday 18th August at 7.00. Registration at Hogan’s, Ballysloe. Proceeds for great charities and Ballysloe Tidy Towns. Adults €10 & children €5.00.

G.A.A. Lotto Results
There was no winner of this week’s Jackpot of €10.000. Lucky Dip Winners of €50 each were, Willie Coleman, Two-Mile-Borris, John Ryan, Boulick, Noreen Boland, Broomhill, Willie Hayes, Ballingarry. Sellers Prize was to John Norton. Next week’s Draw on Thursday 24th August will be at Prouts, Gortnahoe for Jackpot of €10,200.
