World Day of Prayer for Peace
Violence and war causes so much destruction and death. Peace brings so much respect, help and happiness, may the Lord encourage us to pray sincerely and practice peace for each other.

Holyday of Obligation
Feast of the Epiphany, is a Holyday of Obligation, and will take place on Friday next, 6th January 2017. Masses in Glengoole on Thursday  at 6.30 and Friday and 10.00. Masses in Gortnahoe, on Thursday at 7.45 and Friday at 11.15

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration this week in Glengoole on Wednesday from 10.00  to 8.00 and Gortnahoe, Thursday 10.00 to 7.00.

Annual Collection for the decoration of our Churches
The Annual Collection for the decoration of our Churches and sanctuaries will be taken up at Masses this week-end, Saturday 31st December and Sunday 1st January. Let your generous support show your appreciation of the beautiful decoration in each Church each week. This Collection takes place only once each year.

Vocation New Year Reflection

Operation Transformation
Operation Transformation returns to Glengoole on Monday 9th January at 11.00.in the Millennium Family Resource Centre. Biddy O’Dwyer will once again put us through our paces.  €20.00 for 8 weeks, including meal plans and exercise advice.

Lotto Results
This week there was no winner of the Jackpot. Numbers drawn were   7,  9, 11 & 25. Jackpot was €20,000.  Lucky  Dip winners were Alex Bartley, Graigue, Rose Phelan, Graigaman, Billy Stapleton, Rathbeg, Darragh Blake, Killenaule .
