Year of Mercy Reflection
‘Who touched me?’ Lk 8:45. The woman who touched the hem of Jesus garment reveals the holiness of touch. Her touch and cure had the hallmark of tenderness, gentleness, respect and faith.

Eucharistic Adoration
Glengoole: Wednesday Adoration 10.00 to 8.00. Gortnahoe: Thursday, Adoration, 10.00 to 7.00. Come and spend an hour.

Club Parish Development Draw
400 Hundred Club Parish Development Draw for September will be in Glengoole Hall on Monday night 19th September at 8.00. Come along.

Readers for Week-end Masses
Names of new people willing to be readers for Masses on Saturday evening or Sunday morning in either Gortnahoe Church or Glengoole Church are most welcome. Give your name to either of the priests or to any of the regular readers.

St. Vincent de Paul Society Meeting
St. Vincent de Paul Society Meeting will be in Ballysloe School on Monday night at 7.30. All members are requested to attend.

Legion of Mary Pilgrimage to Knock
Pilgrimage to Knock of the Legion of Mary will be on Sunday next, 25th Sept. Coach will leave Killenaule at 8.00. Give names of all who wish to travel to Fr. O’Rourke, Mary McGivern or Bridie O’Shea before Tuesday.

Glengoole Fitness Classes
Fitness Classes in Glengoole Hall will be on Monday and Wednesday nights, beginning shortly. Full information from Nicole at 086 3249226.

MFRC, Glengoole
‘Long Table Dining Experience’, A Unique Fundraiser for the Millennium Meals on Wheels Service will be on Friday 30th September at 7.30 in the Centre. Tickets €30.00 for a four course meal showcasing local food. Booking is essential, as places are limited.

Safe Talk – Suicide alertness for Everyone
Free Half Day Training on Tuesday 4th October from 9.30 to 1.00. Centre Number is 052 9157992.

Grange Badminton Club
The AGM of the Club will take place on Monday 19th September in Grange Hall at 8.00. Our Clothes Collection will take place on Friday 30th September, so if you have any bags of clothes please drop them to the Hall in Grange.

Ballysloe Tidy Towns
We will be holding a Dance on Saturday 8th October in Hogans, Ballysloe to make the presentation to MND of the money raised recently. All are welcome to be present.

Gortnahoe Community Hall – Dates for your diary
Anniversary Bingo on Saturday 15th October. Annual Sale of Work on Sunday 4th December. Remember Bingo each Saturday night at 8.30. Come along.

Lotto Results
This week there was no winner of the Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 1, 6, 20 & 23. Lucky Dip winners were Cathy Stapleton, Patrick’s Gate, Richard Corbett, Gortnahoe, Sean Lahert, c/o Michael Cleary and Mary Purcell, Glengoole. Seller’s Prizewinner was Eoin Teehan, Grange. Next week’s Draw will be at Hogans, Grange on 22nd September. The Jackpot will be €18,800. . This week’s Jackpot was €18,600.
