April Development Draw
Parish Meeting and 400 Club April Development Draw will be in Glengoole Hall on Monday 20th April at 8.00. Come and hope for your luck.

May Family Mass
Family Mass Meeting to prepare for the May Mass will be in Glengoole Hall on Monday night at 7.30. Come along to make that Mass special.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration will take place on Wednesday in Glengoole Church from 10.00 to 8.00 and in Gortnahoe Church on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00.

Reflecting on Marriage
The proposed amendment would radically change the current protection offered to marriage by the Constitution of Ireland – the foundation stone of society.

Security at your home
A Public Meeting promoting security in your home, your farm, your business and our community, as well as Text Alert, will be held in Gortnahoe Hall on Monday 27th April at 8.30. Speakers will include Ger Bergin, National Treasurer of I.F.A, Tom O’Dwyer, Crime Prevention Officer Garda Siochana, Margaret Quinn, Development Officer Muintir na Tire, Superintendent Pat Murphy, Garda Siochana and Sgt Michelle Tierney, Text Alert Co-Ordinator. This is a most important meeting to make everyone aware of the importance we place on security of every type.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 5, 14, 21 & 25. Lucky Dip winners were Marie Dunne, Graigue, Matt White, Crohane, Patricia Prout, Gortnahoe, the Hickey Family c/o Lisheen Mines. €25 Sellers Prizewinner John Norton. Donation of Hurleys and sliotars

Fashion Show on Friday 24th April
Ballysloe National School Fashion Show will be held on Friday 24th April in Gortnahoe Hall. Cheese and Wine Reception at 7.15 and Show begins at 8.00. A wonderful night of fashion is certain and also hair dos and make up. Tickets costing €15.00 can be purchased at Ballysloe School, Gortnahoe P.O., Cahill’s shop, Ballysloe and from school parents.

Celebration of Silver and Golden Jubilees
Pioneer Total Abstinence Association Membership and celebration of Silver and Golden Jubilees will be on Friday 1st May in Gortnahoe Church, with Mass at 8.00. Please give your names to Fr. O’Rourke during this week.

Fun Run
A 5k Fun/Run Walk in aid of Colaiste Mhuire, Johnstown will take place on Sunday 3rd May at 11.00 in School Grounds. Registration is at 10.30. Adults €5. Children €2. Your support greatly appreciated.

Bingo in aid of Friends of Chernobyl
Charity Sunday Bingo in aid of Friends of Chernobyl in Littleton on Sunday 26th April at 3.30. Jackpot €500.

Clothes Recycling Collection
