Confirmation
On Friday next 27th Feb. Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly will confer Confirmation on 52 of the children at school in the Parish. The ceremony will begin at 11.00. We extend a warm welcome to you to come to welcome and greet our Archbishop on his first visit to the parish and on this his first Confirmation Ceremony in the Archdiocese.

Family Mass
March Family Mass will be on Sunday 1st March in Glengoole at 10.00 and in Gortnahoe at 11.15. Theme: “Jesus, the Son of God. Listen to Him”.

Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration In Glengoole on Wednesday from 10.00 to 8.00 and Gortnahoe on Thursday from 10.00 to 7.00. Please come and pray.

Outdoor Crib Contribution
Thank you for your kind support to the Outdoor Crib in Gortnahoe Church. A total of €144.32 was received. This has been divided equally between the two nominated charities, ie., Local SVP and the Jack and Jill Foundation.

G.A.A. Lotto
There was no winner of this week’s €20,000 Jackpot. Numbers drawn were 1, 4, 7 & 29. Lucky Dip winners were Margaret Campion, Graigue, Jim Holohan, Glengoole, Denise Slattery, Glengoole Evelyn Dunne, Mary Willies. €25 Sellers Prize winner was Sean Hickey.. Next Draw is at Mary Willies. Jackpot €20,000. Reserve Jackpot €2,600.

Clothing Recycling Drive
MFRC Clothing Recycling Drive in aid of Meals on Wheels and Eldercare Service will be on Friday 27th February. Leave all bags of clothes at the Centre by 12 noon on Friday 27th. Please support.

Collection for Epilepsy
Church Gate Collection for the cure of Epilepsy will be taken up this week-end, 28th February & 1st March. Please be generous.

Mary Willies Golf Society

Juvenile G.A.A.
Our 5k Fun Run/Walk is now only 7 weeks away, on Sunday 12th April. Get those runners on and set your goal. Let this be your Lenten challenge.

Confirmation Prayer
Loving Father, send Your Holy Spirit on the children being confirmed to be their Helper and Guide. Give them the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of right judgment and courage, the spirit of knowledge and reverence. Fill them with the spirit of wonder and awe in Your presence. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
